Saturday is for the more expensive nice pieces
Sunday is when you get the bargains

Also note that if you are a premi member.. you are also a SDMAS member.. last year MAX offered SDMAS discounts for admission.. so make sure you represent SDR and SDMAS ... let's see if there is another best pic contest again this year :beer:

Sorry, we do not offer special discounts except to Senior Citizens and Active Military personnel. (Children age 12 & under are FREE)
Entry price is still only $15 per Adult, plus the first 2,500 paid adults will receive a nice large fabric gift bag with swag products inside.

Yea, Hikari dropped the ball last year, but we picked it back up. Literally thousands of dollars have gone into acquiring this years fabric bags that won't fall apart during the first hour of walking around with frags and such.
This year's bags are much nicer, as are the free stuff inside......you wait and see.

Bring your kids, Mom Dads! There are lots of things for the kids to do at the Marine Aquarium Expo, including:

- Our Famous 8-foot touch tank full of Marine animals
- The HighDefinition Children's Theater (showing animated films)
- Jack the Pirate and Aqua the Mermaid entertaining
- Drawing, facepainting, crafts, etc.
- Kids Baseball Throwing Contest at 3:00PM both days
- 4 baseball kits awarded both days (ball, bat, and glove)
- Free pair of MAX sunglasses to the first 200 kids to attend.

Did we mention that MAX was a Family-Friendly Event??? :)

Can't wait! For you guys that have been before.. Was thinking of going Sunday, but wondered if it is pretty well picked over by then? Went to first day of RAP and got some cool stuff, but heard the deals are better second day..Don't wanna drive all the way out, and end up with a bunch of leftover blah stuff on Sunday. Whatcha think? :) And how do I score that Mermaid gig? maybe I can get an event staff discount!?:lol:

Here are just a few announcements to get the party started!:

Spring Baseball is Here!
Be sure to sign your kids up for the Children's Baseball Throwing Contest.
We are giving away ten complete baseball sets of:
- Wilson 12" leather fielders glove
- Wilson Official League baseball
- Louiville Slugger 28"-32" baseball bat
Contestants will divide into three different "Leagues" depending on participants height.
throwing distances will be 40-feet, 30-feet, and 20-feet, depending on League assignment.
Sign up start at 2:00PM at the raffle booth. Contest starts at 3:00PM
Contest is limited to 20 contestants per day (first come first served) Ages 6 through 14

More Kids Activities!
The first 200 children to arrive at MAX will be given a free pair of MAX Sunglasses
Don't forget the Children's HD Theater, the 8' Touch Tank, Captain Jack, Aqua the Mermaid, and more!
Most of all, don't forget Kids 12 and under are admitted FREE of charge!

2,500 MAX Bags!
The first 1,500 Adults on Saturday and the first 1,000 Adults on Sunday will receive a free large MAX swag bag to carry all your purchases in throughout the show. Included are some great free samples from a few of our exhibiting manufacturers.

All Adults should register upon arrival for a chance to win one of three great Summer MAX door prizes: 1) Professional Popcorn Cart, 2) George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Grill, and 3) Tabletop Soda Vending Machine. Three winners each day. Drawing starts at 1:00PM
