A New Beginning. .

2 years ago I got a free 50 gallon, I said to myself I won't spend a lot of money and just get what I need with the help of a really good friend of mine egd101 by getting stuff here on SDR. .we got my 50 gallon started and as everyone knows what happens from there is the ADDICTION took over...it was not even a year and that 50 turn into 110...going to all of the lfs even in different states.. Me and the wife have been planning on buying another house something smaller becuz soon our kids will be goin to college and we don't even use the extra rooms in our house..

After having trouble deciding what tank to get, I have finally made up my mind
Tank dims 48x30x20 rimless. .thanx Heffe for dealing
with all the quotes..the tank is on order hopefully will be here in a couple of more weeks.
I will try to build my own sump and a zeo reactor..with my son. I want to do things right this time so this is gonna be a long process stay tuned

I picked up my acrylic yesterday. .heres pic of the dry fit..they did really well cutting it for me hopefully I can put it together today..its a 24x20x18 its a smaller dims but it will work for what im trying to accomplish I also have my frag tank 20x10x8.im maximizing the room in my stand..and I will also be building a qt tank thats goin in my stand..will see how this turns out..my first time building a sump*

Thanx J ya building it myself saved me some money...and it was fun I was worried it was gonna come out ugly and leaking. .I think it looks good without water gonna put fake fish and corals ...so I dont have to do maintenance. ..lol:lol::bounce:

Its less than 125gallon per hour..it should be good..

The 3 on 3 off is recommended for stocked stablished tanks allready. .im doin 14 day cycle following G Alexander's guide..and the lid doesnt change anything..
