Just picked this up. Its around a 4 gallon tank. Came with live sand an a few pounds of live rock. It came with a rio hang on back filter, small heater and a cheap little clamp on LED. Not strong enough to grow anything. If even keep anything alive. If anyone has any suggestions on a cheap decent LED I could use that would be cool. I only wanna keep a few shrooms and maybe some z/p. Here it is.

There's the led lights at lowes. I used them to grow cheato in my tank and I used one on my 5 gallon tank. Corals loved it but not the best coloring....

Thanks guys! Thanks Adrian I'll look into that light. Is it just a white light? I was thinking about getting one of those Ecoxotic pico fixtures. Still not sure about it tho. Haven't seen them in action. Ya Jared this was the dude on Pendleton.

Check out one of these... or post in "equipment wanted" section to see if one of the members already have one similar?
Inexpensive and meant to grow corals unlike the ones from HD or Lowes.
Should be fine for softies.

Thanks. I was thinking about a PAR38. I just don't care for the price of them. I was also looking at little clamp on PC's but at the same time I don't wanna have to deal with heat. Custom aquatic sells these little fixtures and they are affordable. Who knows tho if they will grow or keep things alive. I figure if it doesn't work for softies I could at least use it for a fuge light. What do you guys think?

Nice pico Raul!! its looking very good so far.

+1 on what Brian (laffingcrow) said. you can do a PAR30 or 38 and it will be more than enough and NO HEAT!! you wont have to deal with evap as much. GL
