Tried to take a break and just keep a 20gal but that was short lived(6 months). Found a really cool tank for the right price so back in it I am. I am gonna take a stab at running a sps dominate tank relying heavly on natural filtration and a decent fish load as invert foord source (besides lighting)to hopefully in the future produce a well running simple and healthy sps domintated reef tank. In my break I took a lot of time to more or less relearn everything I thought I knew about coral and fish husbandry. Hopefully with my new found knowledge I can achieve my goal. Thanks for looking.

Well after a hard fought and lost battle with dictyota algae I had to swapp most unifected rock from my sump to my display and put all rock that was cover with it down into my sump, hope it stays in my sump, could be a good macro algae. Pretty much took down the whole right side structure and rearannged a few things. Did give my fish more swimming room. Moral of the story....I HATE DICTYOTA!!!!!!!!
