The SDMAS (San Diego Marine Aquarium Society) is doing a group buy on the new Seio pumps. These are "similar" to the Tunze Streams, but much cheaper. They come in two different models, the 620 and the 820 (which represents the approximate gph). These are for in tank only to move large amounts of water (not as any pressure or return pump).

THe price will be around $30 and $40 for the 620 and 820, respectively (depending on final numbers and tax). I need to order by Monday if you are interested. PM by Monday so that I can order identifying quantity and model number. I need to pay for these upfront, so if you order, I'm assuming are committing (ordering quite a few. If you do not follow through or not sure at this point, don't order. I'm not making a penny on these pumps and do not want to get burned since I'm ordering quite a few.

When will the larger models come out that are comparable to the 6100's?

They are supposed to, but I don't know. I don't work for or with TAAM. I just organized the group buy on the initial pumps.

Thanks for the SEIO, it rocks! BTW if anyone doesn't come through, I'll take another 820 off your hands... :)

Thanks

Thanks for the pumps stan! I put the 820 in my 55 yesterday and it's worked out great! I was able to remove all the other powerheads, all I'm running now is my Sump return on one side, and the Seio 820 on the other side.

These pumps are great move alot of water but it's not a harsh blast since it's coming out of such a large nozzle.

are you thinking of doing another group buy?

I'd like a couple of 820's if someone doesn't come through.

I might also like 1 620 if someone has it.
