My Milwaukee solenoid was sticking in the open position and allowing CO2 into the tank regardless of the pH controller. THe controller was set at a pH of 6.8 but keep sticking open. I called Milwaukee to see if I could get a new solenoid, they sent one (used) and it was worse. I followed set up directions precisely (no back pressure as recommended) but today I came home to a pH of 4.2 (5 lb CO2 bottle was 3/4 full) and all dead livestock.

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable CO2 system?

Thanks,

you know, I have been 0 for 2 with milwaukee regulators. I started buying aquatek off ebay, and they have been bullet proof for me. I had one on a timer for the soleniod on a planted tank, turning it off at night, and it worked great. I had another on a calcium reactor, and it worked great too. I was a little worried about the quality coming off an ebay cheapie, but was pleasantly surprised. No more milwaukee regulators for me. But their probes have worked great.
