RSM 250"New Adventure"

Well it's time for another :angel:
I previously had a RSM130D (34 gallons) and loved it so I decided to with its big brother the 250 (66gallons)
these are AIO glass tanks with a built in timer for lighting side control panel(switches were u turn on heater,skimmer,lights,both returns)
Lighting:
6X39 watt T5s
3 ATI blue plus
2 ATI purple plus
1 Red Sea 10k (Soon to be ATI Coral Plus)
Well I simply added all the livestock I had on the 40 and everything looks pretty good :cool:

Future Mods/add ons:
Mp40w es w/battery back up
Reefkeeper
chiller
Deltec500 skimmer
Ato
INTank Media basket
and lots & lots of more corals :)

well this tank get pretty hot under the canopi :( so i guess i will need to invest in a chiller
ohh well, So for now i decided to cut down the heat by taking out 4 bulbs 39w ea.
& Added 2 aquarays (1reef white/1 reef blue) But Left 1 ATI blue plus & 1 ATI purple plus
they do add some nice shimmer to the tank so i guess im pretty happy with the color spectrum ( for now)

Heat will always be an issue with a closed hood on the RSM 250. I had the same dilemma and rather than spend the money on a chiller to cool the T5's I went LED for less than the price of new bulbs and used chiller. I now have no heat issues and save money monthly on electricity bill by not having to run 230+ watts for the T5's and chiller. Check out my thread...

Awesome tank, man! I really like RSM. That white 175G they had at MAX is absolutely insane!
Sucks about the fish that hides all the time. I got a Randall's Goby that hasn't came out from behind the rocks in over 2 weeks now :( Don't buy one of those.

Just a small update since i moved my tank a couple of days ago and decided to take some base rock out and a mean damsel
everything went smooth fish and corals are happy once again:)
