I'll be honest man, it's going to be a lot easier if you part out. I've seen many threads start out as wanting to sell everything at once and end parting out.

Just for your benefit, I tried to sell an entire system and got some "nibbles" but no follow through. This happened with 2 set-ups. When I parted out it went much faster and I got more than I asked for initially.

Just trying to sell a full equipment set up is hard enough because most hobbyists want to pick and choose their pieces and that especially goes for livestock. The way I look at it is if I was to get at least 50% of what I've spent on my system that is probably pushing it and I'd have a better chance at receiving that price if I part out. If 50% off retail doesn't make sense to you then you are better off keeping the system or at least parting out the livestock and keeping the equipment should you change your mind down the road. Any system that cost over $1000 is usually going to sit on the boards for quite a while from what I've seen and based on the equipment you listed I would imagine you are going to want more than $1k for it.

I think parting it out will take at least 30 hrs of Ur time. Assume unhave time .
Seem like selling it one shot is a best option. Can't imagine parting it out mean u got to meet up with at least 30 people to ur house n assume their is no flake. N dealing with negotiation n sells. I think if u can sell everything one shot is alot better 30 hrs of ur time at work I am assume atleast 1k

Thanks for the advice. I never thought I could get at least 50% back. Just putting it out there to see the market.

I want to keep the tank n stand for sure. N the light n sump n skimmer. But I might get rid of some other stuff. But I would for sure keep this for myself. This is the best tank I ve found on this forum . Plus 2500 is a fair market price. I don't think I can make much out of this. I rather keep it for myself. I thought I am bidding for a pretty fair price. N I am not planning on buying to sell this awaome tank.
