Mexican Snails- sea of cortez

I have some small sand sifting snails from San Felipe. Are they safe in my tank? They seem to only be active at night.

I think it would be impossible to say without knowing the family/species.

Sorry but my parents took the camera out of town. They are in cone shaped shells, and they have mouths like conches. They have been in there a week and only come out at night. They are smaller than bumble bee snails also.
