Anyone know anyone around town who will put together custom stands or custom hoods, or even online where you can order them?

Why not just go to a local cabinet shop- esp. a little one I bet if you get a pic of what you want they can make it for cheap.

go to OG or AW and have them order you a custom cabinet thru Moore Cabinet company. I went thru Custom Aquatic (N County) and they use Moore also.

I got a custom 20L stand for $200, but it is 6 inches deeper than my tank.

I agree. Try socalcreations.com. Randy hooked me up with a custom canopy with fold up front for my 29. He even ported holes for fans, finished it in the color I needed and painted the inside white. All in one week!

That must be chris, thanks for the compliments and glad you like your canopy, BTW you should send some pics when you get it all set up. Just found this forum and was suprised to see us listed in it. I should be browsing this forum along with reefcentral now, so I'll keep my eyes open for anyone needing any help with woodworking and/ or acrylic.
