Like the title says, it would be cool to have this feature, if its easy to implement.

I thought it does. Don't you get a message something like "user's inbox is full, an email message has been sent..." Doesn't it?

I never did. Maybe it's in the settings but never looked at it..

The site already has this feature. Mine automatically sends an e-mail to my yahoo account saying my mailbox is full. At least it did back in April the last time my box was full.
