120w Led

I have a "new" 120W (119 1W LED) Panel from Waves in Glass. It has never been used on a tank, turned on about 15 times for demo purposes. Less than 1 hour of total use. It is the 4 color 4 circuit setup with no built-in timer. So there are 4 power cords, each one controls one group of like colored leds. If i recall correctly the leds are 453 nm, 460 nm, 1400K and 1600k. It is in a white metal enclosure.

The light from this thing is pretty incredible, but i am going to go with a DIY led fixture so i can dim the leds and create a sunrise/ sunset effect.

My GF says i need a :what: in my post. So to make her happy :what::what::what::what::crazy:

There are plenty of well documented successes with this fixture. It is a very powerful light and i am sure if used improperly you could harm your corals. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration when changing lights. I would recommend an acclimation period to new lighting after any change in intensity.

On that note nobody asked opinions of the fixture, this was a for sale thread. Go post on the review thread for the light if you want to post opinion of it!

HAHA what you dont even know is that i ordered this exact light from larry literally 10 min before i saw this post! then i was gonna have to wait to get it and have a friend install it and not get to see it for 4 months while im in idaho! im so glad this came up! is this the ratio you have sal?

Yeah i was going to sell the 30 and move into the 60 but I am now going to keep them both for now and then maybe step it up when I am back... we will see! Do you need cheato man? or culpera I have a TON of both!!!!!! PIF!!!!! ANYONE IS OPEN TO IT!!!!

too close bleach out some of my acane. and too far does not do any good.. soo i have to say,, it's ok,,, u can't beat 250 ..

nope its definitely different, the panel that i have is the one i got from kthehun89 when he upgraded to a 60. its 1:1 royal blue:white i dont know the exact numbers. its one of Larry's first panels but was custom ordered with 2 power cords
