Ok fellas, where can I get one locally? I just broke my 50 gal rubbermaid. It was ok to use, but water tended to slosh out the port holes when driving from Scripp's pier. What I am looking for now is one of those 50gal "drum shaped" containers with a large entry port from the top and maybe a 3/4"or larger outlet on the side. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance guyz! -Mel

Do you have any pics of what exactly you're looking for? I might be able to find one (I'm back home for Christmas).

Horse feed stores would have it.
I got two for less than $20 at Bonsall [called Tack & something ...].

These are used juice concentrate barrels [55 gallon]. Can't beat that!

Mel,

I'd recommend you call them, because they don't just have these lieing around. You may want to verify they'll have it.

Here is a pic of one that I would be very interested in. Very convenient for me to plumb with a pump or just a stop valve on the outlet. This one is a 30 gallon, but I understand there are 65 gallon tanks as well. It's on ebay, but I wonder if you guys know where to get one locally.

Mel,

Look at USPlastic.com [I have the catalog if you need it].
They have many types of tanks, including rectangular ones. Fore e.g., they have a 68 gals 26*42*17 with 1" outlet for $144.28

Grangers, Northern Hydraulics, almost any plastic or landscape supply house should have these.

I think Northern would be the cheapest.

They show a 60 G for 99.99, 30 G for 69.99

WOW fellas, thanks for the links! Interesting sites. Scripps has a 100gallon limit now, correct? I gotta check out that limit restriction. -Mel:D
