The impeller gets stuck every once in a while but a good cleaning should clear that out easily.
I am going back with the Remora skimmer because with my current setup its hard to keep getting to the screen to scrape it to remove algae. It also has a problem dripping, not huge maybe like a few drips a day but its something I cannot have in a rental with wood flooring.
I paid $40 for it when it was a aquaclear DIY Fuge and since then spent probably another $20 to make it a ATS. It comes with a clamp on light with a CF bulb from walmart and plenty of screen to make another ATS if you like.
Its also has some mudd in it and a little chunk of cheato to sweeten the deal
Maybe PIF or trade for some cool softies (Xenia, Mushrooms, yellow sinularia frag) or some birdsnest? Anything not green I guess.
Need it gone ASAP so the mudd and the Algae dont dry out
