This is for serious buyers only. I don’t want offers or trades unless it’s a lancer Evolution with 30K miles or under. If you do want to trade that car and cash then we can talk otherwise if you come here short on cash and your trying to buy the tank I will not sell it to you and you will have drove here for no reason. The price listed is for everything. It’s $2000 for all of it and I am not parting anything out except for the fish. Long story short I totaled my car and need cash for a new one which is why I am selling my aquarium setup.
Now here are the details on the fish tank; it’s a 240 gallon acrylic fish tank with a black wooden stand and black canopy. The stand and canopy are open in the back for easy access. From ground up to the top of the canopy it’s about 6ft tall (I'm guessing) left to right its 6.5ft and front to back its 31in. the aquarium was custom built to be at eye level so you don’t have to bend over to see the fish. There's plenty of room beneath the tank to store supplies or to work on plumbing, filtration, or any kind of maintenance. The acrylic tank has a built in overflow and is drilled. The overflow wall is a 1/2in thick reinforced plexi glass that takes up the left part of the tank. There's enough room in the overflow area to house pregnant fishes or to acclimate new livestock w/o stressing them which also has a 200 or 300 watt heater in there which keeps the water at a steady 82 degrees. There’s also a 40 gallon sump beneath the tank that’s already drilled and ready to go. It’s been keeping my water absolutely pristine. There’s plenty of filter sponge pads in the overflow and the sump to catch large debris and extra food. You can hose it down to clean it every 6 months. No need to really buy anything to maintain the tank. There are lots of bio balls and carbon as well as a large sponge that call the water has to pass through before reaching the mad 12 return pump and getting pumped back in to the aquarium. The return pipe that dumps the water back inside the tank is a waterfall effect and creates plenty of bubbles which make it easier for the fish to breathe. There’s also an aqua c urchin pro protein skimmer that works real hard to catch any bacteria or debris in the water, It usually takes months before its “dirt holding container” fills up and has to be cleaned. Whenever you clean the filter pads you can just dumb the gunk in the container and wash it out. The last piece of filtration included is a fluval Fx-5. This canister filter is one of the best out there. The output is so strong you could use it as a power head. The fluval can be used for aquariums up to 400 gallons so just imagine the work it does on my 240 gallon. Inside of it there are huge sponges, filter media, and plenty of carbon. I have never ever had an algae problem, not even a little bit. Algae has never stepped a foot inside this tank. There's only two 30 watt fluorescent lights included but even when I had four 5ft t’5 bulbs running constantly throughout the day there was still no algae. I can also include a black 4ft light fixture that holds 2 bulbs, one bulb might still be working but no guarantee the other bulb is burnt out. Also including an American Dj On/Off Power Control Center, the power strip is mounted towards the back of the stand while I have the switches by the front left door of the tank.
There are a few small extras included such as a spare stealth heater, sanyu pellet food, water buffer, ick remover, disease remover, disease preventer, magnetic acrylic cleaner, a large net, an elite submersible filter (I put this filter in the overflow area when there are fishes being housed there just to keep water movement and cleaner water for their environment), plenty of fake plants probably $50 worth or more and a fresh water master test kit.
The fishes are included for the $2000 price but I can also sell them separately. Obviously they have to be sold first before I can sell the setup. If they are sold I’ll take of f $250 from the original price. So that would be $1750 for everything except the two 2ft+ arowanas, 8in blue knight lobster, 3in tiger lobster, 5in angel fish, 8in gold fish. If it’s only the arowanas that are sold and everything else is still in the tank ill take off $200.
