Anyone hear anything about the new current LED strips? I'm thinking about using 4 of the 24" fixtures to light a 24x24x15.

Be careful about the output. Lots of people are drawn to LED strips because they "seem" to be affordable... and everyone wants LEDs these days.
Most of the strips I've tested with the PAR meter are for color only. (added to T5 or MH)
To put it another way "they suck"

Need to know how many watts they are... they pretty much need to be at LEAST 1 watt ea.(bulb) 3 watts ea. is better but both 1 watt and 3 watt put out enough heat that STRIPS are not enough of a heat sink to dissipate the heat.

Sorry to say there are no COOL / HIGH POWER LEDs that can grow corals.
Some of the mfr's would like you to believe it.
How many LEDs do you need to grow corals?... just do a count of how many there are on any one of the LED fixtures available.... that use 1 watt LEDs or more.
My panel for example has 36 LEDs on a 10" x 10" square panel... and could light ~18" x 18" area.
two cents

I'm guessing OP is asking about the new TrueLumen Pro's that just came out.
I'm supposed to be getting some of these soon, soon...
As for LEDs growing corals the Panorama I had grew sps fine as long as high up, and all other corals fine where ever.
These are supposed to be better.
I'm going to do a T5/TrueLumen Pro combo.
