I just grabbed (2), .5", 24" acrylic rods at Rid Out on Ruffner for $1. Nice deal. They had about 2 dozen left. In store, go to right, in white wall organizer next to longer 6' rods.

I posted last week and got no hits. So I went shopping. Good find. They have 6' length of 1/2 extruded acrylic for $6 or so. Still a decent deal. But I had no use for 6'. The ones I got are cast, so a little better quality, but extruded the different is irrelevant - extruded will do just fine for live rock stacking.
