I've got a SWC Xtreme 200 protein skimmer available for sale. I've only had a chance to use it for 5-6 months prior to moving, so it's now just being stored in the garage. Thinking about going skimmerless with the next tank or just trying out a different skimmer later in the future. When I broke down my previous tank, I was cleaning the skimmer pump and accidently broke the ceramic shaft of the sicce pump. I purchased an upgraded replacement shaft. I have the original packaging as well. This skimmer retails for $290. Asking for $220

I found out that the pump's impellar is cracked, so it would need a new impellar kit. I think they cost around $20. Selling as is for $170

$20 for shaft and shipping will run about $13 to $30, coming from Canada.

So I contacted www.swcskimmers.com and they just quoted me an impeller assembly kit for $24 plus $11 for shipping from CO. The guy I talked to on the phone said he can talk you through the install if you have any questions.

I can drop the price to $160 as is to cover the extra expenses.

Just to let everyone know. I just took apart the pump and made one last attempt to get it running. I could get it going for 15-20 seconds then it stops. The impeller does have a crack on it, but I could still get it to run for a bit. So I know the main pump is still good. I don't know maybe there's a jam or something. If you could figure it out, you might not have to get a replacement impeller after all.
