Well after some problems with parts and just having the time to work on it I finally put together my next version of my daylight controller. The original thread is over here:

This one is standalone instead of being a retro of an existing fixture. It also has a pretty simple setup for programming the with swithes so no pregramming is needed.

Here's a video showing how it works

This one is a complete unit built for a NC12 retro. So it just has power in from a laptop power supply and power for the LED's out.

I'm planning on building another one that's just a stand alone dimmer that will put out a 0v-5v or 0v-10v source for dimming external drivers.

I would be interested in buying one of these units from you for my setup. do you think you ever would make to sell?

If there was enough interest I might make a few. If its just the straight controller without the integrated drivers it's much less trouble to build at this point.

that is exactly what id be looking for.....would parts price + labor time + premium sound about right?

lemme rephrase. im more than willing to pay that for your troubles

Thanks again for the interest. For one offs like this I'd probably be looking at something like $100. For instance if you need a 0V to 10V PWM source instead of a 0V to 5V I'll need to make some changes to my current design.

Not sure it that sounds cheap or expensive, but I have a crazy amount of time and money into this now as I've worked way too hard in an effort to make something that will be relatively easy to operate and live with.

sounds good to me

I just ordered some more parts to build a couple more controllers. Do you know if you need a 5V or 10V PWM source for dimming?
