their like 89 new, and without it you cant use the head unit...therefore few people sell them used separately. good luck with your search

from what i heard from dave morris is that the lite kits are each linked to their own pc4. If the pc4 goes bad you have to buy a new one not a used one from someone else's kit.

That is not entirely correct. If you buy the RKL Basic system for $99, that particular PC4 will not work with a different RKL head unit. You can always buy a PC4 and add it to a system. I doubt that you would ever even notice this limitation unless you were just trying to hook up multiple PC4's from multiple RKL Basic systems. I would just buy a new PC4 directly from Digital Aquatics or Marine Depot.
