I picked up this big heatsink intending to cut it up for LED projects on smaller tanks. But now that I look at it, it seems like it would be great for a long tank, like a 60-80 gallon or larger rectangular tank. Since I don’t see heatsinks this big very often, I thought I’d see if anyone is looking for something like this before I start hacking it up.

Size 43.5” X 7.5” main plate is ¼” thick fins are around an inch I think.

Its anodized goldish color. It has a number of mounting holes around the edge and a few smaller ones originally used for mounting gear to it in a few places. There are a few larger half drilled larger holes in the surface along one edge and in a couple spots in the center, see the photos. For what I am doing I can easily work around all that, so it wasn’t an issue for me.

$75, Anyone interested?

What a deal... Just that in scrap costs. Wish I was ready to DIY my 180... that would be perfect.
