For whatever reason my coral beauty has decided to dig a hole in my sand underneath a branch of live rock to the glass below. While I have had groupers and other larger fish that like to hang in places do this, I have never seen a Coral beauty or any angelfish for that matter have this behavior.

Its even moved several empty shells from that area, although he picks them up and drops them at times. (Noise startled my wife when she was sitting next to the tank.)

Anyone ever seen a coral beauty do this? What about any other species fo pygmy angel.

I may have to reach in and move a rock that is next to where he is digging for fear that he is going to unstablize it. (It was a pain to get into a position and is balanced carefully with another piece. Stable enough for animals to crawl on/touch....but dig out the bottom around it......yeah, might be a problem.)
