Processing Membership Fees

How long does it take to process membership fees after we pay via paypal? My membership recently expired and I renewed yesterday morning but my inbox is still limited to 50 messages. Clearly the renewal process isn't automated and I want to know how long it will take before my account is restored to paying member status.

Other option is for me to dispute the paypal payment and yank it back.

yeah, normally it processes right away after submiting your paypal payment.
