Just to let everyone know, MIKE at SOUTHBAY TROPICAL on 3rd. st. in CHULA VISTA has hundreds of new and used tanks that he really needs to get rid of. He Aquired a bunch after a local store shut down. Some are brand new and some are used. Some glass and some acrylic.

i know that he is in need of getting rid of them badly. you should call him and just make an offer. i know that he does have a good size shallow with a stand. glass. sitting in the back that i was looking at a while back.

Ive seen them a few times... some are in GREAT shape and some just need a lil cleaning up. their are a lot of them that are divided tanks like you see in petco or petsmart with the blue backs. i would say that about 95% of them are all drilled and have overflows. a good majority have pumps and stuff with them still...

I went to check it out after waiting 2 hours at the DMV, they are all mostly regular priced tanks

Not really that good of a deal. They have been sitting outside in the sun for months..

I seen them awhile ago. Not sure if they got more. Nothing really caught my eye but whatever did was expensive for tanks sitting outside.

I was there on the weekend, all the thinks are dirty and standing on the sun, not really appealing to me.

There were a couple of 24'' cubes (acrylic), a 10 gallon cube, a sump, and store display tanks. Nothing fancy, noting pretty, and a little expensive for the condition.

They are used tanks from closing down Live Cargo in La Mesa. They may have a few decent smaller tanks but if your looking for something in good shape good luck! Nice 60gallon glass cube but the upper frame is busted. lots of smaller tanks for a possible sumps..
All tanks are totally filthy & some of full of green water / algae...
