plumbing ? again

so am i supposed to cement my plumbing to the bulk heads? what happens if i need to take the plumbing apart?

glue a short pipe to the long end of the bulkhead [they are made of vynil, so PVC pipe glues them pretty nicely], then use compression fitting - see home depot.

In general, I like compression fitting because they not only function as a union but also can conmpensate for length changes. If you want to remove the bulkhead - loosen the threaded 'cap' on the end closer to the bulkhead then pull out the rubber piece [that's where the 'compression' in the compression fitting comes from] and that's it!

Home Depot has a variety of compression fittings - all sizes, including ones with a threaded T outlet.
