Hippo Tang - Black Spots

I have a 1" - 1.5" blue hippo tang. Just noticed he has black spots and rubbing himself on the monty and anything else nearby. I know the white dots are itch. These dots now are dark. He's still fine, eats like a pig and plays with other fish. I want to quarantine in but hides all over and hard to catch without tearing apart the reef. Water is normal so I couldn't really think of anything.
He looks fine swimming around racing with the chromis from one side to the other (48") and eats like a pig.

It is going to be very hard to help you with the information you have given. Can you take a photo? What are all your parameters? What else is in the tank?........ The questions could go on and on.

Have you looked anything up to rule things out such as
