I just had mine drilled by larry. Did a great job and he built me a custom overflow.

I'm not really interested in Larry doing it.. are there any other options? any local shops? someone else?

Since your doing multiple tanks go buy the bit and do it yourself.....

There's a dude at pet kingdom that can drill tanks. I think his name is Kong. You got issues with larry? He does good work. He's just far away.

no, I don't have any issues with Larry, his prices are just a little high and it's a two hour drive for me so I'm trying to find an alternative. I'll give kong a ring today

You figure 8 holes, about $15 per hole= $120. Even at $10/hole your still lokking at $80. I would buy the bit online from EBAY. I think I've seen 'em go ~$15 plus shipping. Black and Decker electric drill from walmart will run ~$20. Your looking at around $40 for everything. That breaks down to $5/hole. If cost is a major issue, then I would look into doing it yourself. Plus if you need more holes, now you have the tools to do it.
