type of macro algae looks like feather?

There was a nice feather shaped macro algae at a few different shops in LA and OC last week. It has holdfasts that attach to the rock where a feather would attach to a bird. What is it called?

after yahoo'ing it, i believe its Cualerpa taxifolia
but the page that came up doesn't have a picture so its hard to say if this is what im looking for. thanks guys.
i guess it depends on where you are, spelled caulerpa as well.

you would think that LFSs would be a little bit more cautious (ie, keeping it in their display tanks)

I may take you up on that offer a little later in the summer. I am going through some serious tank upgrades. I plan on building stand/canopy and maybe sump. Just trying to do a little research :-) Cheers.

you would think that LFSs would be a little bit more cautious yeah we are very cautious about that stuff. Everytime I find a large amount in our fuge at PK I make sure it never effects the enviroment, and immediatly flush all of it down the toilet! ;)
