ya, it will take a little while for it to get used to all the movement and the new environment. Give it a couple of days and it will be fine.

where did you get it?

If it came from a lfs it will take longer than if you got it from a local hobbyist's tank

Nope, nothing special just foods for carnivores. As it gets bigger it will be a very aggresive feeder.

I don't know if I would trust it to eat out of my hand but they do get quite the personality as they get older. I had one a long time ago and loved it. Just an example of how aggressive they feed mine once bit a huge chunk out of my porcupine puffers head when they were going after the same piece of food, so like I said don't know if I personnaly would hand feed it. Also, forgot to mention that you should feed it clams on the half shell once and awhile.

Any LFS will have clams on a half shell. It just means that clam is only on half a shell and is going to be frozen.
