Help!!!

So I just sold my skimmer on RC and have not received my new skimmer. It will take 7-10 days to come in!

If anyone has a spare Protein Skimmer laying around that I can borrow just for approx. a week, I would be very grateful. I'll be sure to take care of it and clean it when I'm through.

Unless you have an extraordinarily heavy bioload, don't worry about not having a skimmer for a bit. Do an extra water change after a week if it'll make you more comfortable. And perhaps feed a bit less.

Skimmers are very useful, but there are many people with very healthy and thriving tanks with no skimmer at all...they are not technically even necesarry. As Russ said, do an extra water change and you'll be fine.
