What are the good online stores to order from? Noticed people use reeftopia.com a lot.

www.bigalsonline.com good for some cheap dry goods. Nothing really outstanding, but worth checking out.

saltwaterfish.com is the best I have seen. Free shiping on a lot of items, but you need $80 min. I have $40 I am looking at, so if anyone is interested in ording some, let me know and I will add it onto mine.

I really like www.marinedepot.com but my next order will be with www.customaquatics.com. They seem to be a little cheaper and there are some wholesale distributors on this forum that can get you additional discounts.

www.thatfishplace.com is good for relatively cheap equipment.
www.drsfostersmith.com occassionally has some deals, but generally is high. It was Petwarehouse back in the day and frankly was better then.
Bigalsonline was mentioned...they have a system where you get a percentage of your purchases back after you hit a certain number.

The top 2 do sell some livestock but I have never bought anything living from them so I cannot attest to the quality.

I've had great success with Etropicals.com...a bit limited on what they have, but clearly a quality operation.

Custom Aquatics, Marine Depot, and ReefGeek all are close by and can get you items next day for regular shipping costs.

what pk-sd didn't mention:

Custom Aquatics is in North County, you can pick up the stuff if you call ahead. They tend to be cheaper for most items, but you still have to pay sales tax.

MarineDepot doesn't charge CA sales tax if you order online.

I also get items from Premium Aquatics, their customer service is superb. You don't have to pay sales tax since they aren't in CA but they don't have free shipping. Lots of custom/special combo items.

I've purchased some really nice Walt Smith Premium Fiji from www.oceanproaquatics.com. They auction the stuff on eBay for $2.25/lb. You can go up to Chino to pick it up and "cherry pick" the rock fresh from the boxes if you go on a day they get a shipment. Not open on weekends though. I work in Tustin so for me it's worth the short drive. Plus they have mangroves for $0.99 right now. If you ship them to SD it's still really cheap! They also have an 800 number if you need help. Hope this helps!
