I don't know of any gobies that do that off hand, but assessors do.

What color were the gobies? I have a goby that does that. It's common name is a white tiger goby. Is this it?

I picked it up at a store called Far West in Murrieta. However, I was at AW today and they had one for like $25 and it was in good health. It was labeled as a "Tiger Goby" and not a "White Tiger Goby"....and it's not a watchman either. They don't burrow or stake out a place in the sand, they like to hang upside down in the rockwork. These guys are not very common.

So the one you saw at AW was like the one you have, how big was it?

Thanks

ummmm...no! :)

They did have some other cool ones, though. I picked up a green banded goby and a Trimma goby for my nano. Man...talk about tiny. They couldn't have been more thank 3/4" long and are pretty skinny, but they are very cool looking. I picked them up because I was afraid that they were going to sell out of them before my nano finished cycling, so I set up a special QT tank to hold them for another week.
