Sewage spill last week, is Scripps safe yet?

There was a sewage spill in La Jolla last week on the day of the rain (Thursday I think). Do you guys think the water at Scripps is safe to use yet? Any way to find out or test?

didnt test, but I got water last night and everything's doing fine in my tank so far...

if you didn't get it yesterday then you're too late... rain's got ya now.

There is always a small window (maybe 24-48 hours ??) after the rain to get water as its stored in holding tanks, so the water coming out of the spigot was probably collected before the rain.

I am more concerned with the sewage spill last week. I would wait few more days before getting any water.

When the rain hit last night, I decided to pull the trigger and I went to get some water last night. I have a sick puffer and I wanted to set up a QT tank for him. Hopefully it will work out ok...
