Last time I was at AW I saw the powersweep that I was looking at for $29.99 Online it's $13.49. I have a couple powerheads for just flow if you need them.

Yea, little rio's at OG are like 10 bucks, little bit bigger ones like the 800 are 18 bucks I think. I just had the small guys from my nano, that's why I'm using them.

If you buy some new ones, get larger ones. 800's are nice and compact, and fairly cheap still.

definitely go with the maxijets. If you eventually do a wavemaker type thing they are the best to use. If you buy them locally stick with OG. AW doesn't have them very cheap.

Neither Rio or Maxijet have internal flow control. If you have a small tank, you might want to be able to fine tune you water flow. In that case get Aqua Clear powerhead. I have three of them, no problems. Can't say the same for Rio.

wwww.Marinedepot.com has them for very good price. And you will get them in one day. Even if you buy just one, the price difference will pay for the shipping.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but did they get that nasty sewage spill all cleaned up. It was late last week but sounded pretty close to the pier.
