anemone caught in intake

Ok,
My anemone got caught in the intake for a aqua clear 20 I have on my tank (refugium).
I got him out as careful as I could and he is pretty messed up.
(yes, I have a sponge over the intake now)
It is alive and moving around, but It has holes in its foot and some (half?) of the tentacles are messed up.
Will it make it? What can I do?

As long as the foot is not very badly damaged, he should recover just fine. Take a picture if you can.

Mine went thru my tunze and looked bad but is alive and well today. Good luck.

well, I guess time will tell.
It has moved around all day so I guess it cant be all that bad.
I am amazed that it is alive at all.

you would be amazed at what these creatures can live through. Just make sure your water is in check and the nem should recover eventually.
