Can we get an ignore button for chat? When it ignores them, you can no longer see what that person is typing?

That would be very nice to have an ignore button in the chat box.

Yeah, i know the feeling Matt. I think its’ mostly because everyone on here has people they’ve "befriended". So these people/friends tend to receive first priority....

Its like having a private conversation with friends and random folk just pop in and eves drop on your subject, interject their opinions and history and then log off. I get that aspect of ignoring people based on that reason, but on other occasions it seems like people won’t get off their high horses to talk to you unless they know you “IRL”(in real life) (I've been there, where if feels like "they just DON'T like you!")

*which is why i wanted to meet as many people as i could in person at the BBQ*
*so my comments don't go unanswered or at least completely ignored, and to show people who I am vs. all the silly stuff I post, or the random **** I blurt out! Lol you know what I'm saying mang?! *

Did you notice any difference after the BBQ?

yes fortunately.... its noticeably better, or at least now when i say hello in the chat a few heads say hi back... which is rewarding in it's own small way.

*yippee, i'm not stuck outside anymore*

I'm guessing that assuming that is even possible, only Blake can do it, and he has been noticeably MIA for awhile now...

Apparently so Chris.....Does ownership ever come on this forum any more?

Blake pops in every now and then as a user, but I don't see any apparent indications that he's done anything with the board itself in many many months.

Com'on people! SDR chat is essentially a public chatroom. No one is obligated to talk to anyone else. If you want to be in a conversation, just contribute something to it. Are people going to be more friendly towards ppl they have already met in person? Of course!

The point is really that -- Don't take chat too seriously. Did high school popularity ever get anyone anywhere? No! Same goes for chatrooms. (If not less)
