Last night I tried to quickly setup my metal halide as a temporary fix while I was in the process of trading for other lights.

I moved it while it was hot on the center brace and 30 min later it cracked. now it's only a matter of time before I have 120 gallons on my floor....

I've been looking to replace the tank anyway since it has a lot of problems. anyone have one I can borrow? I dont have too much live rock, just 2 mollys, and about 6 corals. (xenia, frogspawn, hammer, two zoas, kenya tree)

Edit: Made plans to buy a 110 tomorrow. Just need to get my livestock through the day/night!!

I have a non-drilled glass 60g you can borrow if that is big enough...

nice I think that would work! definitely enough room for the rock im just wondering about how I would keep circulation going.

maybe just move my K4s and heater up there and let my sump circulate with my refugium drum.

Maybe you should drain some water to relieve the pressure so it doesn't burst. Better than cleaning the floor like I just did this morning ;p

A cheap way to keep everything running is with either the 54g rubbermaid heavy duty bin containers from home depot like 22$ or the brute trash cans at home depot for 30$, or sdfishman sells the 55 gallon drums for 40$... Just stick a power head and heater in it. This will work fine until you get your new tank setup. Not as pretty to look at but great... The plus is that if your next tank ever broke you'd have these containers to put everything into next time :)
