I got a used stand that needed to restain and remodel a bit. I was wondering if anyone could do it or know someone that could for cheap. Its not alot of work, basically i need a new stain and fix the door a bit. Let me know if someone could help me out. I hate buying a brand new stand and toss this one out. The wood is still in good condition just need to refinish it

I want the door to be like this, you see how it pushed in a bit.

The color looks fine to me(and tough to change anyway) just looks like it could use a new clear.
Maybe sand and clear satin?
I personally don't like too shiny.
As for door, are you looking to replace w/ whats in pic(recessed panel)?

basically all you need is:
strip off the moldings
chemically strip and sand the wood
order some custom doors of the same wood off the internet or local cabinet builder
put on some moldings that match the doors
stain and finish wood to your liking

Well i have a buddy that can strip and sand the wood. But the door is what im more concerned about. Since i have no clue who to go to and get it, i can probably get it from advanced aqua tank but knowing the guy, its gonna be pricey

Chemical stripping is a mess/pain, and really it's just going to take the clear coat off.
Sanding the color out is way more work than I would want to do.
Personally I'd just scuff it and recoat clear, but satin.
As for new doors there is a place in san marcos on armorlite off las posas thats really good/cheap(The door company?)
I'll double check name, it's across from timberline mouldings.
About $50 per door.

Probably would be same cost as refinishing this one if he wants to change color/doors.
