I'm looking to upgrade, so I'm getting a feel for interest in another 29g setup.
29g tank, drilled in the top right corner with 1.5" bulkhead.
Stand is 31" from ground to where the bottom of the tank sits. It can hold a 10g tank, or an 18tall, which is what's in there now.
Canopy is 10" tall, and can hold a metal halide given the two 120mm fans blowing at the center top. THe fans are wired to a 12v transformer.
Total depth is a little under 14"
Tank is 30"Wx18"Hx14"D, and the whole stand is 32" wide.

daymn... that looks pretty tempting but the stand is just not practical for my usage. i like to mess w/ stuff a lot. is it open in the back of the stand?

lol ... $50 for the stand and canopy? look at the quality of it, MH ready, pine construction, i'd say no less than $100 for both ... $50 is just way too low!

Its a starting bid, I know its probably worth the hundred, but why pay a hundred when U can pay $75 right? Remember, we're all cheap in here and in my case, pretty broke. (I know, I'm in the wrong hobby to be broke) So I'm making my offer. Hence OBO

And we both know that there is another 29 stand just right below this one. Supply and demand...I'm hopin since supply is high..demand will be low. :D

IMO furniture type stuff doesn't or shouldn't lose much value as long as it's still in really good condition. That stand and canopy is worth at least the 140 he's asking for it. a "new" canopy that size would be at least 120 bucks, so throw in a stand, and it's gotta be worth more. . . This is, of course, assuming all wood construction and the craftsmanship is above par.

I'm glad to see that there's interest. I ordered my new tank today, so I hope it'll be ready some time soon.
This will actually be up for sale at that time.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Just saying that you could unintentionally offend a seller with very low offers. It's just reality...it's happened to me with non-fish related items. Some sellers are willing to wait for the right buyer.

It's now empty and ready for sale!
I'll repost the picture as soon as I get back to my computer.
Update on the canopy: the two fans are delta model afb1212vhe, soldered and sealed with heatshrink tubing, and an included AC adapter. They both blow into the canopy, but you can change that by just turning them around.
