If I'm reading it right (no guarantee on that) then I can use these hidden inside the door w/out doing any boring? Also, I was planning on making the door with a lip that overhangs all edges of the opening. How much overlap will I be able to get away with? Thanks a ton guys, I've never used any type of hidden hinge before and my design is pretty much barring any chance of boring to use a standard eurohinge.

from what I can gather, yes, if you are doing face mounted doors, you will be looking at full overlay install picture on website. can't answer the amount of overhang, but I have a sneaky suspicion that the max door thickness limit of 3/4" might be your answer (at least that is what the picture looks like)

they are flush mount, so yes, no boring.

might think about stainless since it will be inside stand. or at least buy enough to do a full replacement down the road.
