if you need your glass tank drilled and you think it's the only time in your life you'll be needing one as opposed to buying a bit-kit, let me know. i can do it for ya.
just got my glass drill kit in the mail and i practiced multiple times on a 10g tank and glass pieces of different thickness, using standard glass-drilling procedures. all holes were perfect. the only size bit i have right now is 1.5". glass thickness shouldn't be a factor.
all i ask is $5 to cover my time and the tool costs. it's cheaper than spending $20-50 on a set and never use it again
of course it won't be guaranteed, but it looks like the outcome is in your favor.
let me know
