Orange Digi Recovery?

I had my orange digi too close to my galaxea and it was stung in random places. Will the digi recover and encrust over the areas where it was stung? Or should it just be fragged off?

So, how did this turn out?
Last month, a loose hammer (coral) fell on my Orange Digitata and ORA Birds Nest. It probably stung them for more than 12 hours before I noticed what had happened. The tissue receded slowly on both corals. I made a few frags (most died because I carried over dying tissue---still learning here). I watched the rest of the large Orange D slowly go up in flames. I was left with one successfully fragged Orange D which was then taken away from my pistol shrimp!:cry:

it will recover but i would frag justi n case. my pink digi bleached and thought it was ****ed up but it pulled through. digis r reallyy hardy
