Tunze Stream (old style)

I'm sure everyone that has a Tunze knows about this mod. Well, maybe not because until this weekend I didn't know about it. Simply take the intake screen off and cutting out every fourth bar from said filter screen. The flow increases A LOT! I've dialed the pump back to 80% and it is still stronger than it was at max previously. (How do I know, my corals are being blown EVERYWHERE!!) Dialing it back some more now...

does it work with nano streams?

I have seen the mod on nano streams where they cut out every-other guard. It increases the flow a lot. Use caution especially if your model is not controllable (so I've been told).
