Hey reefers, have any of you guys got permisssion to pull more than 100 gallons from Scripps??

I am just curious because I got stopped for using to much water and wondered what Scripps gives its 100 plus water users.

Is it a card or something or do you just say you have permission from the maintenace division?? I called that number on the railing but still haven't written the maintenance guy.

Thanks--

Don't quote me 'cause I'm just repeating what I've heard.

I hear that for large qty-s of water, they ask that you come after hours. Something about not holding up the people that only need a little...

No I wasn't using the larger hose. Its locked now anyways. Maybe I got stopped because it was around 4 in the afternoon. I have maybe around 500 gallons worth of tanks and I live 100 miles away so for me to get 30 gallons is worthless. I have to make every gallon count or its not worth the trip.

Sure wish I lived in Clairemont again.

Thanks Bler, hey if you don't mind would you grab that number off the sign that says something about high water usage. Thanks so much. I lost that number. I owe you one.

Yeah the maintenance guy is really cool. I have seen different workers their, but the guy with black hair and a chocolate lab was nice. He showed me his labrador after he saw mine in the car.

It's not worth going to the pier between 4:30 and 5:30 in the mornings on week days. Quality Marine is there filling up and it takes quite awile to fill their truck.....I was surprised to see them still filling up after the 100 gallon limit was posted.

Just down at Scripps this afternoon.
Here is a picture with my cell phone of the sign posted. Yeah its a bad shot but its a phone so I guess thats how it goes.

The number on the sign was the number I was looking for.

Thanks SD reefers!!!
