Thanks guys!. To treat my monti nudis I tried the fresh garlic dip and it killed them luckily I've only found them on one cap and it was an ok looking cap but not my fav. by far. the garlic killed the montis and pods no brittle stars though. I have removed as many as I could see, which was about a pack of 5 in a row (there cute little guys I actually felt bad destroying them with the plaque scraper lol) and 2 strays on the top of the cap. I'm trying this method for know and I have the potassim premanganate on standyby. I'll do this as a last result. For the rust brown flatworms I'm taking the one affected coral which is a monti that for some reason there was several on and blasting it every couple days with the tunze flow and feeding the fish at the same time so if the overflow doesn't get them the fish will hopefully. Little buggers!.

Flat Worm Exit or the like will kill the red/brown flat worms. IME it's the only way to be COMPLETELY rid of them. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully. Siphon out as many as you can first. Also, A good way to tell how much you need: Remove several flatworms into a known small volume of water. Add FWE dropwise until EVERY flatworm is completely dead. You can then figure out how many drops per gallon you need. Try to take into account water displacement due to rock, as well as extra volume due to sump, etc. All this will help keep you from being one of those people that doesn't use enough, and ends up with survivors.

As for the monti nudis, I've never heard of garlic, but glad it works!! Good to know. I have also heard that high doses of FWE (used as a dip, not in the tank) will melt them. Oh, and don't forget to pick up a yellow coris wrasse. They are excellent at eating the little buggers.

Yellow Coris Wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus). I suppose it may eat tiny shrimp like sexy shrimp. Otherwise, haven't really heard any complaints.

A yellow coris wrasse may do a little carpet surfing with your wide open tank, Ryan. They like to jump.

lol really hmmm I have had about 3 jumpers in about 2 years, a couple anthias and a blu spotted jawfish he yellow coris wrasse might be worth a shot. Hmm I do have another wrasse in there though I wonder if they will fight?. Not sure what he is exactly he kind of looks like a biger super cool six line with a protruded upper lip area.
