I've noticed much more posts with foul language...

This was never tolerated and shouldn't be now.

People please use some good judgement

Thank you.

Mods: i know its a tough job keeping the peace, keep up the good work!!

The swear filter should catch foul language. Please use the "Report Post" button if you come across a problem, or simply contact a mod directly about it.

Uhh, you are not in public. You are on a privately owned website. You have no government given rights here.

PS - I believe you are talking about the first amendment. ;)

Some people do not like seeing/hearing swear words. Here at SDR we want to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome, and not have to see things they don't want to (especially something as simple to fix as that).

Plus, not everyone here is an adult.

Some people evade the filter (ie use a "$" instead of a "s") and it won't get xx'ed out then.

It seems the filter hasn't been working on the subject line.

Yeah I don't think it works in the subject line. I'll send a notice out to people to please stop swearing, 'cause I don't think people really read the site news.

What the *bleep*? The *bleeping* swear filter is broken? We need to get one like they have on "Deadliest Catch...." :)
