I have always dosed iodine. I am going to stop because I realize that I am just feeding my nuisance algae. I have never figured out why I have always had even the slightest algae problem. Anyhow, If I notice that my softies aren't doing so well I will resume my old regiment.

good find. I have dosed it since I started and am going to stop dosing everything but Kalk. I do water changes every week and i think that will replace everything else.

i have never dosed anything, and never will. and my tank is an explosion of growth.
