Hi, I don't really know what is going on with my new tiny blue tang!!! his dorsal fin is bubbly since yesterday morning and this morning his caudal fin is doing the same.... please give me any input on this as I don't know *** is going on!!! Thanks!!

What do ou mean by bubbly? Does he have small white dots or spots on him? If so he probably has ich, very common to BT's brought on by stress such as a tank move. If your water is good and he has plenty of places to hide, he should be fine in a day or so. If he gets worse, take him out, put him in a quaranteen tank and treat for ich. Good luck.

well it looks like his fins are swollen and no white spots.

I have updated the pic which you can now really see that the fins are swollen. He is now in quarantine.

Never seen that before. If hes in QT it probably couldnt hurt to treat him with copper to make sure its not a parasite. Does it look like the dorasl fin is bubble from inside the skin or like something is growing on him? Im treating a Blue tang for ich right now and if he doesnt make it im done with blue tangs forever!!! They are very susceptible to disease.
