SDREEFS mini black friday

well I was looking at the most members ever on section.. and we haven't beaten that record in over two year... so how about we all plan a day and time and try to get as many people to sign on to the site as possible, and also maybe we can have a mini "SD REEFS BLACK FRIDAY" sort of thing... where everyone saves their frags/equipment to sell till that day, and so on that day and time, everyone posts their stuff for sale and gives really good deals on them, to help others and such.. so who ever is on on that day and time, gets the benefit of buying corals/equipment and such for a really good price..


LMK, what you guys think.. we can make history(lol) or at least start a little tradition where on a certain day, everyone gives out deals..

not a bad idea but haven't you seen the deals everyday? I've have stuff that is almost brand new at almost 50% off. Every day is black friday around here, majority of us are just spoiled from this site.

There has never been a "sale day" but none of the attempts to break the most online record have done very well. It seems one comes around every few months, and ends the same way.

the best way to look at this....is First...you've got to get a clan of people who are willing to give any frags of theirs or to sell at a super discounted price and consumers are always dwelling on this site...maybe even for the first "mini black friday" only people who wanna give away frags to the newcomers and even oldies just for the hell of it....who miss the newb corals or even fish....damsels, chromis, clowns....W/E! It'll be good for the hobby and I'll bet you a record will hit with this "enlightened" idea =)

It also depends on the day. The 28th is a Sunday and Sundays are usually pretty slow on the boards. Maybe a different day?

sounds like a sdreef swapmeet brewing. how about post on friday and meet to sell/trade/give on saturday. at a location with parking and maybe wi-fi like kobe's at sport arena or a starbucks. break the record on friday and reap the rewards on saturday.
