I use and prefer this set up, it is about the same price, I think better quality, made in the U.S. for thise who care about that.... the di allows you to replace the material mid stream to save money and to have max. power....

a very great add on.

OK, I looked it over and it looks good, but what about getting replacement cartriges after this seller vanishes? Are they standard cartrgidges you can get anywhere?

www.airwaterice.com Best units, best customer service, BEST prices. He mainly deals in filter cartaridges, and makes some of the best quality ones I've seen. I have to replace mine once a year, the DI, once every 6-8 months dependingn on usage. 20 bucks for the 2 carbon and sediment (the carbon filters act as sediment filters too), and 20 for 2 DI.. $40/year. . . Ain't bad

the one that I posted from e-bay is the distributor, this is the same model sold for 349.00 at Aquatic warehouse...... and about every fourth lfs that I have seen..... that is why I bought a second one of the same model, bought the first at a lfs... on 2.5 times the cost.

I just ordered one. They reached the 20 threshold for this group buy and started sending them. Got the basic system w- chloramine buster $135, in-line TDS meter $25, outoshutoff $20, S&H $13 = $193 for top-of-line system [5-stage]
